Our bratwursts are delicious with traditional dishes with potatoes and vegetables, but also for a bratwurst sandwich or at a cosy barbecue evening. Then add a dash of water and let the sausage cook for another 7 minutes or so with the lid on the pan. Heat the butter with a little oil in the pan and fry the beef sausage until brown on all sides.
On the barbecue, grill the beef sausage until brown all over, then let it cook in a less hot place. Drain the beef sausage well after removing it from the water. Put the beef sausage for about five minutes in water that has just boiled and with the heat turned off. We recommend the traditional method, in which the sausages are also allowed to come to room temperature before preparation. Use one of the defrosting methods below.
